ABOUT THE ROLE

Lead a team building an AI context platform for a collaborative data and analytics product. You will shape how people understand, evaluate, and improve the context that informs AI agents working with business data.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

 - Lead the engineering team responsible for the context platform.

 - Set technical direction, review designs, and contribute hands-on to development.

 - Manage and support engineers, helping them do high-quality work and grow.

 - Recruit strong engineering talent for the team.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 - At least 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience, including 2 or more years as an engineering manager.

 - Experience managing a team of 3 to 15 engineers and leading technical product development.

 - Recent, hands-on experience building an agentic or AI-native product.

 - Proficiency with TypeScript; experience with React, Postgres, and Python is valuable.

 - Background in a high-growth startup and experience building products for technical users, such as developer tools or data products.

 - Strong computer science fundamentals, supported by a CS degree or equivalent technical education.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary is $221,000 to $295,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.


LOCATION

Hybrid, based in San Francisco, California, or New York, New York, with regular in-office work.
