ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a growing product engineering team at a fintech company building an AI-enabled operating system for mortgage servicing. You will develop backend features that support complex servicing workflows and large-scale mortgage transactions.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

 - Own product features end to end, from design through production delivery.

 - Build and scale backend systems that support high-volume mortgage transactions.

 - Use AI coding tools in your development workflow, with human review of production code.

 - Design reliable systems that account for federal, state, and agency regulations.

 - Partner with the product engineering team to deliver backend features for customers.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 - Four to ten years of product backend software engineering experience, at a senior level or above.

 - Strong data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals, including experience with large-scale distributed systems.

 - Experience building customer-facing product features at high-growth software companies.

 - Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Copilot or Cursor in day-to-day development.

 - Experience with Python, React, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.

 - A strong computer science foundation and the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary is $210,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.


LOCATION

Remote within the United States. Primary location: San Francisco, California.
