## Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a small, customer-facing engineering team deploying data and analytics software in tactical edge environments. You will build and support systems on compact, on-prem hardware where resource constraints, limited connectivity, and demanding operational conditions make reliability essential.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

 - Own end-to-end delivery of high-stakes customer projects, working with minimal supervision.

 - Work directly with customers to design and deploy containerized software in air-gapped, on-premises, and edge environments.

 - Troubleshoot network and systems issues, review monitoring and alerts, manage configurations and load balancing, and support container orchestration and upgrades.

 - Provide operational support to help resolve issues quickly and minimize disruption to customer operations.

 - Discuss technical architecture with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 - Travel to customer locations approximately 25% of the time.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 - Two to five years of software engineering experience, including hands-on integration with physical hardware or edge systems.

 - A computer science degree and strong software engineering fundamentals.

 - Experience deploying and managing containerized applications with Kubernetes.

 - Deep Linux systems experience, including administration, networking, and on-premises infrastructure.

 - Proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, Bash, Go, or JavaScript.

 - Experience in defense, government, systems integration, or related customer environments; familiarity with data and analytics
