ABOUT THE ROLE

Lead the engineering team building a context platform for an AI-powered data analytics product. The platform helps users understand and improve how AI agents work with their data, combining human insight with automated learning and iteration.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

 - Lead the team responsible for the context platform.

 - Set technical strategy, review designs, and contribute hands-on to engineering work.

 - Manage and support engineers, setting a high bar and helping them do their best work.

 - Recruit and develop engineering talent.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 - At least 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience, including 2 or more years managing engineering teams.

 - Experience managing teams of 3 to 15 engineers and working in a high-growth startup environment.

 - Recent hands-on experience building an agentic or AI-native product, beyond using AI tools in day-to-day work.

 - Proficiency in TypeScript; experience with React, Postgres, and Python is valuable.

 - Background leading engineering for a technical product, ideally for technical users in areas such as data tools or developer tooling.

 - A degree in computer science or an equivalent technical field, or comparable technical expertise.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary range: $221,000 to $295,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.


LOCATION

Hybrid, based in San Francisco, California, or New York, New York.
