 DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash. We're hiring software engineer interns to work at the intersection of software engineering and robotics to solve key business problems with elegant technical solutions.  About the Teams 
 We are hiring Software Engineer interns across our Perception, Autonomy Platform, and DoorDash Air Cloud (Foundry) team. Please review the team descriptions below to learn about each. Selected candidates will be notified of which team is interested in pursuing their candidacy. 
 Perception: The Perception team helps Dot understand the world through vision foundation models and VLMs, supported by lidar and radar for safety. We tackle rare scenarios, adverse weather, and advances in reinforcement learning and end-to-end driving to make deliveries faster and smoother. We're seeking exceptional engineers in machine learning, computer vision, and state estimation to turn cutting-edge research into profitable autonomous delivery.
 Autonomy Platform: The Autonomy Platform team is responsible for the software foundation that Dot runs on. We build a wide variety of software frameworks for ensuring the robot operates reliably at an ever-increasing scale. This includes everything from designing the robot's operating system, building petabyte-scale data processing pipelines in the cloud, and optimizing nanosecond-level compute of bleeding-edge AI models.
