ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a small, high-impact team building AI-powered technology for state and local government. In this broad, hands-on role, you will work closely with the founder and help improve how public agencies operate.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

 - Partner with the founder on company strategy, fundraising, and operational priorities.

 - Own initiatives that help the business run more efficiently and scale.

 - Work with the founding team to shape company growth and day-to-day execution.

 - Introduce AI tools and workflows across the business to help build a lean, effective organization.

 - Contribute to technology solutions that make government more effective.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 - At least 4 years of experience in product, operations, strategy, consulting, or a related generalist role.

 - Experience at an early-stage, venture-backed technology company, ideally between Seed and Series B.

 - Enthusiasm for fast-paced startup work and AI-native workflows, including familiarity with Claude Code.

 - An undergraduate degree from a highly selective US university.

 - Mission-driven interest in improving the public sector through technology.

 - Government or public sector experience, or experience with a consulting firm's public sector practice, is relevant.

 - Experience working outside large technology companies is required. This role does not require visa sponsorship.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $130,000 to $220,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.


LOCATION

On-site in New York, NY, five days per week.
