The Application Modernization Platform (AMP) team is dedicated to solving one of the industry's biggest challenges: transforming rigid, legacy applications that suffer from poor scalability and high operating costs into modern, microservices-based architectures on MongoDB. An important aspect of this is Data Migration. MongoDB is building a world-class team in India to build tooling that helps customers migrate their data from legacy relational databases to MongoDB in real-time. As companies modernise their application and data ecosystems, they are increasingly drawn to the flexibility and scalability of the document model. The tools developed by the Data Migration team are critical in this journey, helping customers with schema modeling, initial data loads, and continuous data synchronization.
 We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with experience in the Java ecosystem, streaming systems, and data-intensive applications to join our team. We are building a sophisticated data migration suite using a modern technology stack, which includes Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Debezium, and React. A successful candidate will be a key contributor to our backend services, collaborating closely with product management and other engineers to design and implement cutting-edge products that solve complex customer challenges.
