ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early-stage AI company building growth automation for consumer brands. As a hands-on player-coach, you will shape the engineering foundations and help deliver systems that improve merchants' growth operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

 - Build data infrastructure that tracks merchant lifecycle events and connects actions with outcomes.

 - Develop agentic growth systems that assess operations, identify opportunities, and execute improvements automatically.

 - Own full-stack development of the growth engine, with a focus on backend systems and infrastructure.

 - Build reliable integrations with commerce, advertising, and marketing platforms, along with orchestration tooling.

 - Mentor engineers while contributing hands-on to product development and engineering practices.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 - Five to eight years of full-stack engineering experience, with strong backend skills across data infrastructure, event systems, and API integrations.

 - Experience building and owning production-grade agentic or LLM-powered systems that integrate with third-party APIs.

 - Experience mentoring or leading engineers, and the ability to bring structure to ambiguous work and prioritize effectively.

 - Early-stage startup or founding engineering experience, or experience in a growing startup environment.

 - Familiarity with Python, TypeScript, LLMs, and commerce or marketing integrations such as Shopify, advertising APIs, and email platforms.

 - Strong communication skills and a track record of sustained contributions in engineering roles.
