ABOUT ISEMBARD
Isembard is building a network of high-performance factories for critical industries. We combine advanced machine tools, robotics and our own software, MasonOS, to make precision components for aerospace, defence, energy and frontier technology companies, with factories across the UK, US, Germany and France. Our mission is to forge industrial acceleration.
THE ROLE
A factory network is only as good as its worst site. Factory Advisors, sometimes called deployed factory engineers, get new and existing sites in our network running to the Isembard standard and keep them there.
You will deploy into factories, work directly with owner-operators, general managers and site teams, and be their point of contact as they become operationally and financially successful. Technical competence matters, but communication is the differentiator: you learn the operating playbook in depth, teach it clearly and hold every site to it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support factory setup, onboarding and operating-model implementation at new and existing sites.
- Translate the playbook into shop-floor practice: production flow, documentation, quality and traceability, communication cadence and MasonOS adoption.
- Train site teams and explain technical concepts in language people can act on.
- Audit factories against the playbook, write clear findings and corrective action plans, and recommend go or no-go when a site is not ready.
- Help site owners understand their P&L and cash flow, and improve profitability.
