Terms of service

By using DeviantJobs you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. You need to be at least 16 to create an account.

Keep your password to yourself and give us an email address you can receive mail at. You’re responsible for what happens on your account. One person per account, please. Sharing an account or creating several to collect welcome credits isn’t allowed.

Listings are gathered automatically from public job boards and company career pages, and some details, such as discipline, level and location, are classified by AI. We don’t employ anyone, act as a recruiter, or vouch for any employer. A listing can be out of date or wrong, so check the details on the employer’s own page before you apply.

The assistant searches for roles and writes drafts and resumes from the material you give it. We check drafts against your profile, documents and the posting, but the checks can miss things. You’re responsible for reading everything before you send it and for making sure it’s true.

You own the documents you upload and the drafts written for you. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you.

New accounts get free welcome credits. Searches, drafts and tailored resumes cost credits, and the price shows before you start. You can buy more credits in packs through Stripe. Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred, and don’t expire while your account is open.

If a run fails without producing anything, its credits go back to your balance automatically, and a draft run refunds any drafts it didn’t write. If you bought a pack and haven’t used any of it, email hello@deviantjobs.com within 14 days for a full refund.

Please don’t:

• Scrape the site at a volume that affects other users, or resell the listings.
• Upload material you don’t have the right to use, or that contains malware.
• Use the assistant to write applications with claims you know are false, or to impersonate someone else.
• Try to get around credit limits, rate limits or other people’s account security.

We may suspend accounts that do these things.

We work to keep DeviantJobs running and accurate, but it’s provided as it is, without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that you’ll get a job. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You can stop using DeviantJobs at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@deviantjobs.com. If we close the service or your account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we’ll refund credits you paid for and haven’t used.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll email account holders before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms. Questions go to hello@deviantjobs.com.
