The Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Data Consultant to support our clients’ enterprise data architecture, information management and data governance agendas.
You will analyse, define and document conceptual business data models, Information Objects and enterprise data terminology, helping ensure that critical business information is consistently understood, governed and represented across the enterprise landscape.
Working closely with Enterprise Architects, Data Architects, Data Governance teams and business SMEs, you will help strengthen information architecture, improve consistency of business terminology and ensure projects align with agreed enterprise data standards. You will also support the operationalisation of DCAM principles , particularly across Data Architecture, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Operations and the Data Control Environment.
What You’ll Do
- Analyse and document enterprise conceptual data models , business information structures and relationships between key Information Objects.
- Define, document and maintain Information Objects and enterprise inventories, supporting completeness, consistency and traceability.
- Maintain the enterprise data glossary , helping establish clear and consistent business terminology across projects and domains.
- Gather and analyse business and data requirements, identifying data dependencies, ownership, quality considerations
