T he role
As Prolific scales, maintaining a healthy and sustainable marketplace will be critical to our ability to meet growing demand for high-quality human data. We are looking for a Data Analyst to help us understand how well our marketplace is working, identify where supply and demand are not connecting effectively, and measure whether product and algorithmic improvements are delivering better outcomes. You will work closely with Product, Engineering and Operations teams, using data to answer important marketplace questions and support better product decisions.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Strong Analytics Skills: Strong SQL skills and experience analysing complex datasets. Python experience for analysis and experimentation is beneficial.
- Marketplace or Product Analytics: Experience working with marketplace, product or operational data and using metrics to understand user and business behaviour.
- Marketplace Metrics: Ability to work with measures such as supply and demand, fill rate, time-to-fill, availability, quality and concentration to understand marketplace performance.
