ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage healthtech team building AI-powered tools for clinical trial recruitment and patient support. As a founding product engineer, you will help shape the product and build full-stack features that connect patients with relevant clinical studies.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and orchestrate AI agents that support patient recruitment across clinical trials.
- Develop matching systems that use patient profiles and real-world outcomes to identify relevant trials.
- Scale conversational experiences across voice, SMS, and email while maintaining consistent, personalized interactions.
- Integrate the product with healthcare and research systems, including legacy tools without public APIs.
- Own product improvements end to end, from design and implementation through deployment and customer feedback.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- One to six years of software engineering experience building products for real users.
- Full-stack experience across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, with a track record of shipping user-facing products end to end.
- Proficiency with TypeScript and Python; experience with Next.js, AWS, Terraform, and Docker is relevant.
- Strong computer science or related technical fundamentals, supported by an undergraduate degree in a relevant field or comparable experience.
- Experience in an early-stage or high-growth product environment, with high ownership and the ability to lead projects independently.
