ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a systems engineering team building the core C++ software behind GPU virtualization for AI and machine learning workloads. You will help improve GPU utilization and scale a cloud infrastructure platform through low-level systems development and performance work.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and maintain a C++ GPU virtualization library.
- Research GPU oversubscription, checkpointing, and high-performance GPU systems.
- Support new hardware architectures and understand how changes affect the broader system.
- Debug production systems and diagnose performance issues across customer workloads.
- Trace performance problems across system layers and deliver optimized code to production.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 3 years of experience in C++ systems engineering, with deep C++ expertise; Rust experience is also relevant.
- Production experience with low-level systems such as operating systems, kernels, memory management, drivers, or networking.
- Experience optimizing network interface or C++ performance and tracing issues across the stack.
- A record of shipping production software beyond academic research, ideally in an early-stage startup environment.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and a degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience with compilers, networking protocols, Kubernetes, infrastructure, distributed systems, storage, or data ingestion is valuable.
