As a Field Manager – Data, Optimization & AI on Via’s Operations team, you are the force that keeps our services running reliably for the communities that depend on them. This is a high-ownership, boots-on-the-ground role where you’ll lead the daily operations of our on-demand RMV services across the greater Frankfurt area, tackle real-time challenges, drive optimization, and ensure our riders are transported safely and reliably.
A big part of the role is optimizing how our field team and service operate: using data to quickly answer operational questions, identify opportunities, improve processes, and lead AI and automation projects. You’ll have a unique opportunity to combine hands-on operations with innovation and help shape the future of on-demand passenger transportation in the region.
This role is based in the greater Frankfurt area, with the expectation that you will be on-site at least 3 days per week
What You’ll Do
- Run daily onsite operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for our riders.
- Drive continuous optimization across the field team and service, leveraging data, technology, AI, and automation — including leading AI projects from idea to implementation.
- Make real-time decisions on fleet, driver supply, compliance, rider needs, and unexpected issues — using data to quickly diagnose problems and keep service running smooth
